Sistine Chapel

I finally saw the famous Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel! Instead of going to class today, my friend Danny and I decided to go see the Sistine Chapel. Most people have been going with their parents when they come to visit, but since our parents are not coming, we thought we would go ourselves. The Vatican Museum is huge! You go upstairs, downstairs, around corners, and have to deal with lots of tourists. After walking about an hour through the museum, we stopped to get coffee before we saw the Sistine Chapel. We then walked into the chapel and were in awe. I immediately spotted the Hand of God giving life to Adam. It was spectacular. I cannot believe that only one man painted this room. The colors were beautiful with so many great details. The frescoes are beautiful and I am so privileged to have seen this masterpiece. If you get the chance to go to Rome, make sure you go and see the Sistine Chapel!
